It’s kind of stealing the magic, huh?

The biggest day of your life requires a level of expertise that you may not have as a young bride just eager to start the next phase of your life, especially considering you probably haven’t ever planned one before. And let’s face it: you are already in a season of life that has brought you countless changes already. You might have an idea of what you want, but you don’t have the capacity to worry about the dumb things like chairs and microphones.

How it Works

  • I want to hear everything about your dream wedding! Tell me all the details: what you’ve been imagining, what’s most important to you, and even the things that are stressing you out. Whether we hop on a Zoom call or just chat through messages (because I see you, introvert friends!), this is all about getting to know your vision. From there, I’ll walk you through how we can bring it to life, lay out a game plan for the process, and answer any questions you have. After our chat, I’ll send over all the details, including plans and documents, so you feel totally confident and excited about the next steps!

  • Once I have all the details you’ve been dreaming about, I’ll start piecing together the design to make sure everything reflects you! If you already have a vision, amazing—we’ll run with it! If you have no clue what you want for colors, décor, or style, don’t worry. I’ve got a fun questionnaire (and a few other tricks) to help me get a feel for your vibe.

    From there, I’ll either create a couple of mood boards for you to review, or if you’re already set on your look, we can skip right to the next step! I’ll start developing your client portal, where we’ll keep everything—inspiration, to-dos, notes, and more. This is your space to give feedback, tweak things, and make sure every detail feels just right. You have full freedom to change anything at any time! And you don’t have to schedule an appointment or wait to see any of this, it’s all yours whenever you want. This step is all about gathering inspo and getting everything organized so we’re ready to dive into the next big piece—vendor selection!

  • Now it’s time to find the exact people who can bring your dreams to life! You might be wondering why this is a whole step when I already have a vendor directory on my website, but wedding planning isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll go beyond the usual options, searching for the best vendors, unique outdoor locations people don’t always think of, and creative ways to make your vision happen. Need to DIY something that isn’t available in your community? I’ve got ideas. Looking at vendors from another town and need to figure out travel logistics? We’ll cover that too. While we’ll always prioritize local vendors first, this step is all about exploring every option to make sure no detail gets left out. Like everything else, we can tackle this part over Zoom or just through messages—whatever works best for you!

  • Now we make it official! In this step, I’ll handle booking all your vendors, getting quotes, and making sure everything is lined up so you don’t have to juggle a million emails and texts. You’ll still be in the loop and have full control over budget and decisions, but instead of feeling overwhelmed, you’ll have only one point of contact! I’ll also take care of ordering any items you need, organizing rentals, and making sure everything is fully booked, sourced, and on its way for the big day. The goal? To make this process as easy as possible so you can focus on the fun parts and not the stress!

    This step may seem like just placing orders and making reservations, but it’s actually the longest part of the process. This is where we double-check everything, tie up loose ends, and ensure every little detail is here and ready to go. From now until the hands-on part of the wedding, I’ll be here to answer any questions and keep things running smoothly. It’s all coming up quick!

  • When it comes to setting up your wedding, we’ve got you covered! If you’re renting décor or items through us, we can transport them to your community by ferry or personal boat to make things as seamless as possible. But beyond rentals, you can also hire me and my team to handle the entire setup process for you the day before your wedding. That way, you can relax and focus on the excitement of the big day while we bring your vision to life, down to the very last detail!

  • On your wedding day, my job is to make sure everything runs smoothly so you can be fully present and soak in every moment. I’ll manage the timeline, keep vendors on track, and make sure everyone—wedding party, family, and guests—knows where they need to be and when. From setting up last-minute details to cueing your grand entrance, I’ll be behind the scenes handling any hiccups before you even notice them. Whether it’s fixing a fallen boutonniere, adjusting the ceremony setup, or making sure the cake is ready for cutting, I’ve got it covered. My goal is for you to feel completely stress-free, knowing that everything is taken care of so you can focus on celebrating your love!

Hi, I’m Trinity Clay! I am the founder of Alaska Event Co., but truly, I’ve been planning parties since before I could even reach the cake table. As a kid, I was always dreaming up my next birthday before the candles were even blown out. That early obsession with celebrating people and making moments feel special turned into a lifelong love for art, color, decorating, and design—and eventually, a career in weddings and events.

I’m an extrovert to my core, and I thrive in the buzz of bringing people together, even the most unlikely of groups, and creating spaces where everyone feels connected. After nearly a decade in the industry, I’ve built a business that blends thoughtful design with seamless logistics and deep-rooted local knowledge. I know Southeast Alaska like the back of my hand, and I bring a curated network of vendors, a warehouse of rentals, and a passion for detail to every event I plan.

And if you book photography through me too, you don’t have to coordinate with a separate team! I’ll already know your timeline, your vibe, and your priorities. People think elopements are the “easy” option, but if you’ve ever tried to plan one, you know that’s not exactly true. I eloped myself, so I get it. Coordinating travel, scouting locations, booking vendors in places you’ve never even been, and trying to make it all feel special without the full wedding crew? It’s a lot.

That’s why I offer elopement planning with the same level of care and support as any full wedding. Whether you're hiking up a mountain, hopping on a ferry, or planning something intimate in a tucked-away town, I’m here to help bring it all together. I know how to navigate the details, the logistics, and the emotions of making something small feel just as meaningful.

Elopements

I may be a Southeast Wedding Specialist now, but my journey began planning my own destination wedding elopement in just 3 weeks. In the heart of the pandemic with family from all over the state, it was impossible to get everyone we love together for a safe and happy wedding. So we ran off to the desert with our immediate family, a couple of friends, and a big backyard Airbnb. I learned so much doing this journey on my own, and I would love to help other people run away and feel the same rush that we felt on that beautiful day in 2021.

Whether you’re looking to race out of state (or country!) or are from the Lower 48 and dreaming of running away to the Last Frontier, I’m your girl for the job!
